Members of St. Augustine’s Commandery, based in Kent, UK, recently visited the Maidstone Day Centre, run by Maidstone Homeless Care (MHC), to witness their outstanding work supporting homeless and vulnerable individuals.

For over 35 years, MHC has provided essential services in Maidstone, offering proactive support to those most in need. During the visit, the Commander of St. Augustine, HE Chev. Laurence Pisani, was delighted to present a consignment of tents and blankets to the Centre’s Manager, Heidi Griffin. These items will provide much-needed assistance, particularly as the colder weather sets in.

The Commandery is proud to support local charitable initiatives like MHC and looks forward to fostering a continued partnership with them in 2025 and beyond.

We encourage everyone to visit Maidstone Homeless Care’s website to learn more about their vital work and explore ways to support their mission. Even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
