On Saturday, 21st June 2025, eleven new Knights and Dames were formally invested into the Sovereign Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Knights of Malta, at a solemn and dignified ceremony held by the Grand Priory of Adelaide. Each of the candidates was recognised for their outstanding service to their communities and pledged to uphold the enduring values and traditions of the Order.
The Investiture was presided over by His Excellency Chevalier Dr Samiul Sorrenti, Grand Prior of Australia & New Zealand, alongside His Excellency Chevalier Anthony Romeo, Grand Prior of Adelaide, and Chevalier Reverend Michael Lane, Chaplain to the Grand Priory of Adelaide.
The ceremony was witnessed by over 50 Knights and Dames from both the Grand Priory of Adelaide and the Grand Priory of Australia, who gathered in support and fellowship.
Following the Investiture, an elegant Investiture Ball was held to celebrate the occasion and honour the newly invested members of the Order.
