On 14 December 2025, the Grand Priory of the Hungary held a distinguished charity gala dinner within the stately surroundings of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. The Academy graciously provided a venue whose dignity and cultural heritage perfectly reflected the spirit and purpose of the evening.

The occasion was further elevated by the presence of the Prince Grand Master, HIRH Sándor Habsburg Lothringen, Grand Master, alongside eminent representatives of kindred Orders and distinguished members of our own, whose attendance honoured the event and strengthened the sense of shared mission and fellowship.

All proceeds from the evening were dedicated entirely to charitable causes. A significant portion of the funds raised supports the vital work of the Gyöngyszemek Foundation, which assists children with disabilities and adults living with multiple impairments. Through care, advocacy, and practical support, the Foundation plays a crucial role in improving daily quality of life, dignity, and social inclusion.

In addition, the proceeds of the gala enabled the Order to support the Primary School for the Visually Impaired with a donation of HUF 150,000, contributing directly to the development of the school’s sports activities.

Throughout the evening, guests were immersed in a rich programme celebrating art, culture, and craftsmanship. They enjoyed access to the remarkable collection of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, alongside a special exhibition by painter Ágnes T. Lukács, who presented works created uniquely for the occasion using Maltese and Pannonhalma wines as her medium, generously offering them for charitable auction.

The experience was further enriched by the presentation of handcrafted wines from the Rustica Wine Workshop and winemaker János Tóth, whose creations added depth and character to the evening. During dinner, guests were treated to a captivating musical performance by actor and singer Dániel Szerémy, whose voice brought warmth and emotion to the gathering.

The auction of artworks, together with the wines enjoyed and purchased, made a significant contribution to the success of the evening’s charitable mission.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and the Academy Club, and to all guests, supporters, artists, and contributors whose generosity and presence made this gala evening both meaningful and memorable.
