The Path to Membership of The Order

Becoming a Member of the Order typically begins with a current Member identifying a potential candidate. This candidate is often someone within their circle of friends or professional colleagues. The Member introduces the candidate to the Order’s mission and objectives, focusing on its dedication to charitable work for those in vulnerable conditions.

The first step for the candidate is to be introduced as a Serving Brother or Serving Sister. During this stage, the candidate actively participates in charitable activities, demonstrating their commitment and interest in the Order’s mission. This period lasts for a minimum of one year, after which the candidate may be invited to become a full Member of the Order. It is important to note that some Serving Brothers and Sisters choose to remain in this role by personal preference.

If a candidate agrees to progress to full Membership, they become a Postulant and are formally invested during a Solemn International or National Investiture. These Investitures, held once or twice a year, are hosted on a rotational basis by a Grand Priory. These ceremonies are grand occasions, attended by Members from across the Order, creating memories that last a lifetime.

This structured and meaningful process ensures that every Member shares a deep understanding of the Order’s values and a sincere commitment to its charitable mission.
