The Flame of Peace annual Aid and Charity Bal in Hofburg, Vienna with members of our Order as guests.

After the gathering, welcoming of new Serving Brothers and Sister and interacting between new friends, Brothers and Sisters on the forenoon, the peak of this day was now infront of us. We, as members of our Order, were invited guests to this fantastic event. In some Grand Priories we truly cooperate locally and internationally with the Flame of Peace organisation, Managed by our Royal Protector, Her Imperial Royal Highness, Princess Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen. One example of this charity axel is the operation between Grand Priory UK, english hospital beds, Flame of Peace and a hospital in Macedonia, which now have a severe number of new beds from UK thanks to this cooperation.
It was a marvellous feeling while coming up infront of Hofburg in the evening light with hundred well dressed guests gathered outside befor entering the gate and the security check. Some of the quests arrived more classy than others but everyone glad and cheerful with lots of expectations. Groups of Brothers and Sisters formed and slowly moved up to the gigantic stairway to the huge bal hall.
All and all it were more than 800 guests entering the Hofburg entrance and finally the hosts came with the guest of honour, Prince Albert of Monaco.

During the Gala Dinner there were many speeches, performances, song and music and a very passionate and well performed speech from the guest of honour, His Royal Highness Prince Albert of Monaco, tonight awarded for his dedication to the world peace and for his environmental devotion. But there were also time for interaction and discussions between friends, Brothers and Sisters within our Order and outside our Order.

Thank You, your Imperial Royal Highness, Princess Herta Margarete Habsburg-Lothringen and Imperial Royal Highness, Prince Sandor for a fabulous evening and a memorable evening and night and formost for the inspiration.
