Following a successful sponsored walk organised by Deputy UK Grand Prior, Chev. Tim Allen, a cheque for £820 was presented to Sam Milligan of JAC’s (Just Around the Corner).
JAC’s, a Christian charity, provides equine-assisted learning and development programmes for children facing challenges such as ADHD, anger, self-esteem issues, trauma, and depression. The charity’s innovative approach helps young people build confidence and develop vital life skills.
Sam Milligan expressed gratitude for the donation, stating, “This generous contribution will be specifically earmarked for developing and extending our small animal facility. It will allow us to offer one-to-one interaction with Guinea pigs, Rabbits, and other small animals, enhancing the therapeutic experiences we provide.”
Chev. Tim Allen shared his enthusiasm, saying, “I am extremely pleased to see this donation go to such a worthy cause. It is heartening to know that our efforts will help JAC’s further develop their facilities and continue their invaluable work in assisting young people as they navigate their challenges.”
This collaboration underscores the commitment of the Order to support organisations that make a meaningful difference in their communities. Congratulations to Chev. Tim Allen and all who contributed to this impactful initiative.
