“Habemus Papam.” With these sacred words, the Catholic Church proclaims the dawn of a new pontificate. We offer our solemn congratulations to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, and to all Catholics around the world, on his election to the throne of Saint Peter.
The weight of the keys is great, and yet we trust that God’s grace has chosen a shepherd for these times.
